Cori Broadus, the daughter of Snoop Dogg, is sharing an emotional journey as she faces health issues and relationship struggles while planning her dream wedding.
Months after enduring a stroke in January, the 25-year-old, who has lupus, reflects on the terrifying experience in the trailer for the three-part series. “My health was declining,” she says in the preview released on Nov. 7. “Doctor comes in, ‘Cori, you had a stroke.’ I’m hurting, I’m scared. Why is this happening to me?”
Alongside her fiancé, Wayne Duece, Cori faces the pressures of organizing a massive wedding for 750 guests—all in just four months. “I’m a princess, so the princess gotta do it big,” she quips, as the couple juggles extravagant ideas like $10,000 shoes, a helicopter entrance, and hoping for Justin Bieber to perform at the wedding.
However, as tensions rise, Cori and Wayne hit rough patches in their relationship. “Me and Wayne are in some deep trouble,” Cori admits. During a heated couples’ therapy session, Wayne questions their future, saying, “There’s no point in talking. Should I even get married?”
Amid the wedding stress, Cori also faces insecurities about her wedding gown, confessing during a fitting, “I hate my body. My dress, it’s not making me feel sexy.”
In the midst of it all, Snoop Dogg—who shares sons Corde, 30, and Cordell, 27, with wife Shante Broadus, and son Julian, 26, from a previous relationship—expresses his concerns, saying, “This is gonna become a nightmare!”
