Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Milagro Cooper
Known online as Milagro Gramz, accusing her of ongoing harassment, false claims, and sharing fake, explicit images of the rapper. According to court documents filed in Florida’s Southern District Court, Megan alleges Cooper has launched a prolonged campaign of cyberstalking, causing her emotional distress and circulating altered images of a sexual nature involving deepfake technology.
The lawsuit claims that Cooper has engaged in a “years-long campaign of harassment” on behalf of Tory Lanez, the artist convicted in 2022 of shooting Megan Thee Stallion and sentenced to 10 years in prison the following year. Cooper’s social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and possibly Instagram have been deactivated or suspended following these developments.
Megan, legally named Megan Pete, has requested a jury trial to address Cooper’s actions, alleging that Cooper “liked” the explicit deepfake images and directed her followers to view them on social media, further encouraging them to engage with this content on her YouTube channel. The lawsuit includes screenshots as evidence of Cooper’s actions. Deepfake images, which use machine learning to create hyper-realistic but false images and videos, have recently seen increased misuse, with public figures like Taylor Swift also being impacted.
Cooper’s coverage of Lanez’s trial reportedly involved promoting “debunked conspiracy theories” and undermining Megan’s credibility. In one instance, Cooper allegedly supported a petition for Lanez’s release and falsely claimed the gun used in the shooting was “missing,” while it remains in police custody according to the lawsuit. Just this week, Cooper allegedly reposted a video questioning the legitimacy of Megan’s injuries, asking, “Can you even prove that you was shot?”
When Megan questioned what it would take for Cooper to stop posting about her, the YouTuber reportedly replied that the rapper should “just get over it, or go away.”
